Aerospace Engineer
Mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineer The candidate MUST have 2-4 years experience. The prospective candidate will have a solid modeling experience. The ideal applicant should be able to participate in concept and design development for proposals and projects for the company as well as have the ability to develop analytical work scope, estimated costs and schedules. The potential employee will provide analysis, reports, performance predictions and technical presentations. The applicant should be able to create structural and stress analysis working prototypes (static and dynamic) Knowledge on how to do model aerodynamic testing will also be required. Duties would include: design and development of Radio Controlled and propulsion flying and or launched vehicles.

PRODUCT & PROJECT MANAGER:
Maintain overall responsibility for the research and development of new products, product revisions, and ongoing quality standards for all items in specifically assigned product category - hobby products and other related items.

  • Work with foreign and domestic factories to develop new proprietary products.

  • Establish a complete line of products in a category by developing three to five-year product plans that include product line extensions and scheduled product introductions.

  • Ensure that all legal, environmental, and industry requirements are met, including related Federal and State regulations, as well as industry sanctioned or mandated guidelines.

  • Ensure that all necessary purchasing information, including pricing, minimum order quantities, terms, and packaging specifics, is supplied to the Purchasing Department on a consistent basis.

  • Maintain constant flow of technical and promotional information to the Marketing Department.

  • Five or more years of expert level experience in designing, purchasing, and/or merchandising in the toy or general hobby industry.

  • Experience in the area of imported merchandise.

  • Extensive product and foreign sourcing experience.

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and manage many projects at once

  • Must be able to travel several times per year domestically and to Asia

  • Experience with radio-controlled vehicles

  • Familiarity with machining and injection molding

ASSISTANT PRODUCT DESIGNER:
Designs, tests, and evaluates electronic products and prepares reports and drawings to communicate test results and recommendations. Requires involvement with radio controlled hobby products with a good understanding of how electronics function in typical R/C hobby applications.
